WTB Mousepad for Razer Mouse
Hey all, I have this Razer Lachesis that doesn't seem to be performing as well as it should it. It's light and has these slick teflon feet which send it flying off of my ZFragmat with the slightest tug. One helpful person has recommended a gel-pad with a cloth surface. That makes sense since the Lachesis is twitchy on my somewhat-slick ZFragmat. So, anyone else agree on a cloth-based mousepad or have any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance! =]

Cloth mouse pads are hard to clean and don't last very long but do reduce the slidingness. You could always try no mouse pad at all.
You can also adjust the DPI so the mouse pointer won't fly into an oblivion.
Or just get a mouse with adjustable weight cartridges (I wub my G5 mouse )

I do not know how great of a suggestion this is but at certian dollar stores you can find super generic mouse pads, this is what I use. When they get worn or dirty I just toss them into a pile (still have no clue what im going to do with them, maybe wash them and cut them into fun shapes to use as coasters?). They seem to last as long as a super duper versions. Just not very stylish.

Any of the gaming mouse pad from QPAD. They're not as abrasive a lot of the other mousepads, so they won't scratch up the bottom of your mouse either.
I use a Razer mouse as well, I get a lot better speed and control with QPAD.

Cloth-based mousepad would increase the resistance between the mouse and it's teflon feet best. I'd recommend a mousepad with a high resistance, thus the cloth-based mousepad seems the best option I can think of.

I don't use a mouse pad, and all in all I would not recommend this route.
Since most computer desks are wooden, over time they will tear up your mouses feet and your mouse will rub the finish off of the wood or whatever surface you are using - that is why it is ideal to stick with a pad, and find one that is right for your needs.
I couldn't use cloth-based mouse pads because they slowed it down too much, my G5 didn't like it much.
Just my two cents anyways though. QPAD seems nice, but expensive - probably getting what you pay for there.

The best mouse pad that i have found is you go an buy a very cheap mouse pad and then cover it with computer printing paper. works great and last for about 2 week then i retape new paper to the mouse pad. But you can also just use a clip board with paper no tape needed.

Razor Destructor mouse pad is by far the best I've used. Its expensive, about $40 but very much worth it. I barely feel any resistance between the mouse and pad, and it greatly improves the responsiveness of the mouse.

I use a Razer Copperhead Mouse with a Razer Mantis Control Mousemat and it's probably one of the best Mousemats I have ever used.

I use an ALLSOP artist fully metal mousepad with a textured plastic surface similar to that of vinyl.
You can find it here:

No slipping with the mouse. Best mouse pad I have ever used, and my Sidewinder has the Teflon feet on as well.
